1. Highly reliable Vector Control Method
Closed loop vector controls of previously well received MISUMI RS Single Axis Robot Controllers is adopted. This enables even the pulse control to exhibit excellent control performances, and similarly to our position controllers, prevents torque losses at high speeds.
2. Feedback through Resolver Type Rotation Angle Sensor
High precision rotation angle sensor information essential to eliminate Stepping Motor stalls is obtained through feedback method same as MISUMI's Position Controller.
Highly accurate positioning is possible through high resolution resolver (20480 pulse/rotation).
3. Pulse Train Inputs are compatible with Open-collector and Line Driver types
Pulse command input method can be changed with simple change of wiring and parameter settings within the controller, matching the specifications of upstream controller.
The Open-collector method supports wide range of input voltages from 5 to 24 V DC.
4. Parameter editing / robot body manipulation is enabled through RS-Manager
The support software, "RS-Manager," is essential for easy control. Installation of this software allows configuration of the single axis robot operation parameters, real time tracing, output of backup file and other
editing/manipulation to be performed as easily as when a position controller is used.
[ ! ]Handset terminals "EXRS-H1" and "EXRS-HD1" cannot be used with EXRS-P1.
5. Existing RS Robot Series can be controlled with pulse train inputs
Single Axis Robots with Stepping Motors currently in use can be controlled using Pulse Control Controllers as well,
with no need to purchase new Single Axis Robots. Even in case that Upstream control is pulse output, existing Single Axis Robots can be re-used just by changing the controllers.
