The positive finish of the rake angle, sharp edge processing of the bottom blade corners and 53° strong twist deliver strength when finishing pocket vertical wall surfaces of mold bases (holding blocks), and when machining raw materials, heat-treated steel and aluminum.
The TS film coating with much greater oxidation resistance and hardness than conventional films exhibits excellent durability, even with raw carbon steel materials, in addition to heat-treated steel.
The tool has a high rigidity, reducing the chances of tool breakage to a minimum when cutting side surfaces.
